Fellas,
It's been quite a while now for all of us and I have been really excited to see all of the emails coming through. This email address does work, I guess I've just been lazy and a little busy. I'm glad to say that it hasn't really been work/school that's been keeping me busy as I have been in clinic for the last several weeks and have tons of love for the old 8-5 schedule. Rather, I've been a bit busy with my girlfriend (yeah, sit down if you're not already) and strongly thinking about the probability of getting married (warned you). It's a long story but I actually dated this girl eight years ago before I went on a mission. We "dated" during my mission and hers, but things fell apart shortly after she came home. Last year we found each other again and have been dating steadily since. Now it's looking like we might just make it permanent. She lives back in O-town, however, so that is what ends up taking up the most of my time commuting back and forth. She's great, though, and I really love her. But, no kids on the way for us at this point, though it sounds like all of your families are growing rapidly. Congrats to all of you on recent, and not so recent, additions.
Well, hope to keep in touch with all of you and will be curious what all of you may be doing for future careers. As for me, I'm actually thinking strongly about family medicine right now, but anesthesia is a close second, and medicine next. I need to make some decisions soon, but decided surgery, or at least 5 am, and I didn't get along so well.
